What We Believe

We believe that the Bible is the infallible Word of God. We also believe in the Great Commission to go into all the world to make disciples of all nations. Why should we hear twice what the world has never heard once?

God

is made up of three distinct but united persons: the Father, the Son, and the Holy Ghost who put us in company with love, grace, and intimacy with God.
2 Corinthians 13:14

Jesus Christ

is deity as established by three witnesses.

According to Isaiah, He is the ‘wonderful God.’ Isaiah 9:6

  • According to the gospel of John He is God manifested in the flesh. John 1:1; 14
  • According to words from His own mouth, He is the great ‘I Am’ of the Old Testament. John 8:58

God created man in His own image and likeness. Genesis 1:26-28
Man experienced death and separation from God as a result of his disobedience. Romans 5:12
Man’s relationship with God has been restored through the shed blood of Jesus Christ—the price He paid for our redemption and the remission of our sins. Ephesians 1:7

The Holy Spirit

Salvation (the new birth) and the baptism with the Holy Spirit are separate experiences. The evidence of salvation is the manifestation of new and godly desires based on a new nature. The evidence of the baptism with the Holy Spirit is speaking with other tongues as the Spirit gives the utterance. Acts 2:1-4

The Church

is the body of Christ. Therefore the human body is a model for understanding our lives together as a church. 1 Corinthians 12:25
Every member has a significant place, function, and purpose in the body according to God’s design and pleasure. 1 Corinthians 12:18

Eternal Life

Jesus will return and all people will be resurrected, judged, and assigned to their permanent residence based on their response to the gospel.
Mark 16:14-16
Those who believe will be saved to live with the Lord for eternity. Those who do not believe will be damned and separated from God for eternity.

Tithing - Our Covenant Connection With God

A tithe is a tenth of our financial income, a part of our ongoing relationship with God and a sign of spiritual maturity. It represents a practical expression of our worship unto the Lord. The Bible says in Leviticus 27:30 that "the tithe belongs to the Lord and it is holy to the Lord." And we are instructed in Malachi 3:10 to "bring all the tithes into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house...." The gospel is free, but excellence is not. We have a mission as a church to span the globe with the Word of God and we have a mandate to conduct this ministry with excellence. This commission will be fulfilled through tithes and offerings. As tithers we declare our victory over greed and fear.

We live in Philippians 4:19, "And my God shall supply all your needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus."
